Teaching every child to touch type in a fun way!
It starts with motivation
Touch typing is an essential skill at school, during your studies and later on at work. The good news is that learning to touch type is not that difficult, as long as your child practises enough. The bad news is that typing exercises are incredibly boring. Success therefore comes down to motivation. If your child is motivated to practise a little every day, they will have it down in no time.
That is why we set ourselves the goal at TypeMission of making learning to type genuinely fun. We do this by making children part of a Netflix-worthy spy story, with real actors, typing games, thrilling spy missions and fun gadgets.

How the typing course came about
Fifteen years ago we joined forces with the Leiden Educational Institutions (LOI) to develop a typing course. We designed the story and the game elements, while LOI developed the teaching method.
Over those fifteen years we have learned a great deal about how best to motivate children, and we have made the typing course a little more fun every time.
The result: more than 100,000 children in the Netherlands have learned to type in an enjoyable way with our course.

The new chapter: TypeMission!
Because we believe that Dutch children should not be the only ones able to learn typing in a fun way, we set out on a new adventure in 2024. With a new, enthusiastic team and under the new name TypeMission, we developed a English version of the course, complete with English actors!
We are incredibly excited about this new chapter of our typing course. Now we can teach even more children to touch type in a fun way. Will you join us?
